Mission Statement

The mission of bukU Modernist Cuisine is to provide a unique, healthy, delicious dining experience from environmentally sustainable products. Located in a small college community, strong community ties and support are important to bukU Modernist Cuisine. The majority of the food to be used will come from local suppliers of Farmers’ Markets of Texas, Gulf Coast, the Central and Eastern Coast, even using products from Texas’ organic farms. The employees are driven by a passion for the food they are serving. They are trained in providing the highest level of customer service to make each individual’s experience enjoyable, as well as, help them find satisfaction in every bite.

THE VISION: OUR TARGET

“Go” is a fantastic Chinese game played throughout oriental civilization. It is a board game for two adversaries, who play with black and white pieces. Bolder people may compare it to “Chess”, where two divided worlds also face off against each other with black and white pieces, as we might define chefs and waiters. bukU MODERNIST CUISINE is a free-style restaurant, committed to the avant-garde, but still faithful to the memory of different generations of the family’s ancestors dedicated to feeding people. It was founded by two friends Chef Cris Sanchez and Nate Couser at the end of August, 2015, in Frisco Texas.

The Restaurant supports various local and national charities. We are proud of our position in the local community and we welcome you as our friends.
